I am curious to know if RNYA will be compiled and released for older versions of RN.

For my personal benefit, clan themes is way past a version change, but I would like to soak of the the benefits of the some of the hard work done for 2.30.

I know it is a lot to ask, but a worth cause in my opinion.

I don't think there are any plans at the moment. You could always migrate to RN. Wink

I am using RN, just not the latest version. I wish it was just simple case of migration, but clan themes is a little past just a simple update Sad. One of the downfalls of customization I guess.

floppydrivez, you could try the older CNBYA. I believe I installed that in one of the older RN's without much trouble. It added a few features but not all the ones like the RNYA does. Maybe worth a look at, if you can still find it for download anywhere.

Customisation is always a problem, so I try to keep as much of the original package as possible and any changes I do make I keep a note of them to remind me what I did.

It might be worth having a go at the migration on a local system, you never know you might be surprised how easy it is with database and file comparison tools.

While CNBYA was a great "base" for RNYA, there were hundreds, if not thousands of fixes done to it to get it ready for RN. Many of them were individually minor -- getting rid of undefined variable notices for instance but some weren't and the cumulative effect was fairly major. I would strongly advise that if you want to use a CNBYA variant, just bite the bullet and upgrade to RN 2.3.

I hate to beat the same drum, but there are also security fixes from release to release that you are not taking advantage of. We do not always communicate these in a public forum for obvious reasons (no need to give the script kiddies their "juice").
