OK, I've searched the forum for a solution to this issue within the 2.3 build without success.
Problem: Admin/Edit User option. When the cookie settings are tweaked a redirect is put into play which does not allow for access to any other page except the Your Account area. Redirect is:
modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=tos&redirect=index.php

Question: how do I kill this as it even blocks access to my phpMyadmin so that I can't go through the db to change or disable the redirect. Instead of me plowing around in the code trying to find a needle in the hay stack can someone offer a fix for this problem?

What do you mean by "when cookie settings are tweaked"? How did you tweak them and why? Do you see the redirect in your htaccess file? The redirect, as least as far as I know, would be in htaccess, not in the db and you should be able to fix it through an FTP client session or something like Cpanel.

What is meant by "when cookie settings are tweaked" is I entered the Edit User configuration area and changed the default settings. Why did I do it? To meet my needs.

The redirect isn't in the .htaccess file so the FTP client session won't fix it. It would be in the db because I tweaked a setting that activated the redirect. I can go into the db and change the setting and thus kill the redirect. But I can't access the phpMyadmin area because the redirect is blocking me out.

If someone could please tell me what area of RN controls the Edit User functions I could then fix it myself.

Thank You!

I got it fixed, I by-passed the route to phpMyadmin and used the RN installation script to reload the default SQL tables then dumped my backup db files in to reestablish all of my own settings and info for the site.
I believe all of my problems started when I changed the default "Activate the CookieCheck (beta)" setting within the Admin/Edit User area. But, I am not going back to double check that it was the problem Smile

GOOD, though for the life of me I cannot understand how a database setting could keep you out of PHPmyadmin. I was just looking through the code in YA/index.php and there are some redirects in there but they would only effect you (I think) when you came to the RN site and accessed YA. I can't see how that would affect PHPmyadmin but as Hamlet said "there are more things in heaven and earth Horatio than are dreamt of in your philosophy".

The only way that the redirect affected me was because the site is running off of my VDS root. I am going to have to move it, I placed it there to save from leasing another domain name. The phpMyadmin is appended to the end of the root domain name so the redirect interfered with that and replaced the url with the redirect url which I listed in my initial post.

Have a nice day and thanks. Smile
