How to make 2 god acounts?

I don't believe that you can. The code just looks for one throughout.

Create your admin through edit admins. Go into mysql, nuke_authors, and change the name field to "God" and the radminsuper field to "1" for that admin.

You can use phpMyAdmin to change the entries in your authors table.
Just set the 'name' field to 'God'

tnx, i tried the same thing in 7.6 and 8.1 and it didn't worked so i thought it wont work on raven either Razz

it works on 7.6 i did it plenty of times it should work on 8.1 also

The original question was how to make 2 god accounts. No question you can probably diddle with mysql thru phpmyadmin or even thru the authors ACP to change the name field to "God" but what does that get you? Nuke is programmed to look for one God administrator. Best case is that the programs will find more than one and ignore one of them. You'd really need to regression test such a change thru the whole of Nuke and even then you could hit unpredictable results. Unless there is really a reason to have 2 Gods and you've tested the effects extensively, I'd leave it alone.

I've tested it, it works fine. There is no search for one specific God account, only that your account's name is "God"

Some scripts require the God admin to work. If you multiple administrators that need such access, then it would be easier for them to have their own accounts

The main reason for multiple God accounts is to give another individual full rights to act as the God account would.

Nuke checks to see if you are a God account, it doesnt actually look for the God account and then see if your username matches. This would actually be a bad way to do it, as if it did, it would more then likely be open to more exploits then it already is without sentinel.

I must be missing something here, so if I am, please let me know. You can make as many God accounts as you want through the standard Add a New Administrator function. In the Name: field you simply use God. Okay, so what am I missing?

However, to change a non-God admin to a God admin is not an Administrator function so you just need to pop into phpMyAdmin and change the Name field to God in the Authors table.
