Steps about upgrading

Hallo RN admins i got a beautiful question ha~ My question is about the upgrading from 20202 to 2.10.01

i have read the upgrading files i just want to comfirm again by the following steps.....

step 1: Upload the 2.10.01 files to Overdrive the [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ] contain the 20202 files) then set the new config.php file with the old DB user from the 20202 DB?

Step 2: i am not sure whats the version of the rn20202 forum is it 2.0.19 or 2.0.20. How do i upgrade the latest RN forum patch?

Step 1 - if you have made changes to other settings in config.php you may need to re-apply those as well (I am thinking the $AllowableHTML array if you modified that at all).

Step 2 - what is your forums configuration page showing for the version? I can look up what was provided with 2.02.02, but I don't know if you have kept pace with the phpBB patches as they came out. To upgrade, Raven has provided in the UtilityFiles directory of the download the bbtonuke patches. You need to run each one incrementally to get to 2.0.22.

montego thanks you, i overide the old config file to the new config file i change all the DB setting like the DB user name etc. nope i leave the $allowableHTML alone.

the forum version was 2.20

each increment i see got that.
