NS is fantastic, it allows you to track anyone visiting your site. Where they went, what they saw, what they read.

Now how about, an option to insert a prefix for usernames. Maybe on install or just simply on the search pages.
The reason i suggest this is, Nuke is the preferred CMS for gaming clans. And it would be usefull for everyone to view 'who went where', the bonus of a prefix is that gaming clan Admins can view, what members went where, by using the prefix and eliminating the X amount of other users.

Just a suggestion, maybe its impractical idk, but its an idea.

It should be possible to filter on a wildcard for usernames. Maybe its something Bob can add if he has time

nice

For example i admin sasclan.org, I do use Senti, if a member says he never read a post/topic that is important. Senti tells me that they did and when. An option somewhere for a preffered username prefix would be great, it would also help if you are unsure about your phpbb access privelges

Actually, instead of assigning "meaning" to a username it might be a better design to have another field which would serve as a grouping of users. Or having said that, use NSN groups and assign users to clan groups. You could do that now although Sentinel wouldn't track it in the current implementation.

It appears that i may have stumbled across a 'viable' enhancement idea here.

Would a Mod be so kind as to move it to the Sentinel Enhancement Requests Forum for me please

I moved this over to enhancement requests. I have some reservations since this request involves changes in other areas of Ravennuke ... either adding a prefix or using groups so the enhancement would need to be done in conjunction with those ... at least as I can visualize it. But, if I'm wrong feel free ... Smile

I don't like the prefix idea, but I'm not really sure what that means. If you could just ask Sentinel to filter by username with a wildcard pattern (like what Evaders suggested) I think that would be good enough.

yup, anything like that. I think they are all variations of the basic idea. Ill leave it to the designers/programmers to work out the best way Dance-Stick
