Hi,

Just installed the DOT 10 and it was smooth as a breeze!

To save time and space I excluded all the themes except fisubise as I thought that was the default theme.

Now when I try to enter the site it wont load properly, and I wonder If it can be because I dont have the right default theme uploaded.

Is fisubise still the default theme?

Cheers and thx for all the effort put into DOT 10!

/B

I did the same Beerfrog. and i can confirm that mine works fine. Although the only differance is that mine is not default. So i guess im just waffling here.
I stripped out all of the un-needed language files and Themes, except for Fisubice (just incase something went wrong).

You could always use brute-force to change the default theme, in php-myadmin. If you are getting white-screen issues. Just edit the nuke_config table, to use the theme that you need

If you look in the load program "rn_core_pl32.sql" in your INSTALLATION/sql directory you will see that fisubice is loaded as the default theme. And as Wiz says, you can always look at that table in phpmyadmin and confirm that. If it's not set that way then something went wrong with your installation. You could turn error reporting on to help you diagnose what went wrong.

I have a feeling that you are logged in as your normal user too and that user had a different theme? That is the only way that I can see this happening. You might want to do into phpMyAdmin and see if there are any other themes selected by individual users. You will probably want to NULL those out or change them to fisubice.

Thx all, actually it was just a REALLY slow server day, the site runs just fine now with IGstation-theme instead of fisubise.

thx /B

WFP, well you are correct in that you've put this in the wrong place. But perhaps more important you haven't provided any information that anyone can use to help you with. What version are you upgrading from and to? What process did you use? Did you dump and restore your forum tables? It almost sounds like you may have restored over the top of a good set of tables and wound up with a mish-mash (that's a technical term) but it really is hard to tell.

well, to some degree, I see that your old forums had the same theme, but seriously altered. Did you copy the files over correctly?
Also I cant really tell, are the forums the same?
As fkelly said, what did you overwrite?

And more importantly then any of the others, did you make a backup?

NukeSentinel can be downloaded from: [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

...or you could drop the Sentinel tables in you database and remove the core edits.
