Hi
I am able to login as a normal user but an error is printed out.

Quote:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function nav() in
[server root]/modules/Your_Account/index.php on line 250

Another problem is that, I am not able to login to admin cpanel.
I ve check the database. The username and passwords are correct for the admin user. But it does not print any error messages; not even a "wrong username/password".

The local install went fine and worked great but in my hosted server the above said problems arise..

Anybody knows why this is happening?

Thanks a Lot
Smile

You wouldn't be able to tell if the admin password was correct by looking in th DB table as the password is encrypted and wouldntt make any sense.

If this is a new install I recommend deleting all your tables and running the installer again.

Just to add a couple points. The admin password is in the authors table, not the users table. As Guardian says, it's encrypted. You can hack it with phpmyadmin by using the md5 function on it and typing in text to have md5 applied to. However, you mentioned in your original post admin "cpanel". Let's make sure what we are talking about. Nuke has an administration screen and many hosted servers use something called cpanel to let admins administer their sites. The hosted server will give you a password to cpanel and it's entirely separate from Nuke. If that's your problem you will need to contact the host and there is no relationship to the Nuke tables.

The missing function you are talking about sounds suspiciously to me like a FTP process gone awry. You might want to verify your directories and/or rerun the [ Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! ]

HI
Thanks but i did check with the "nuke_authors" table.
I have mysql installed in my pc. i did a

Code:

select md5('mypwd')

and compared it with that of my actual "pwd" field.
Both are same.

btw, I am speaking of RavenNuke admin control panel and not Cpanel(tm) Question

I uploaded the archive to megafile and told my host to unzip the archive to my directory. SInce they own megafilr, all they had to do was just copy the archive from their local server and unzip it to my direcotry. So the possibility of FTP error does not arise.

There are 105 tables and 65,889 records.
Should i go for a reinstall?
