Cannot set forum Administrator Permission

Every time i try to set myself to Administrator in the forum permissions, so my nickname displays as the orange color and all, it sets me back to regular user. Why I'm not set to Administrator by default baffles me... Anyway, is there any way to manually set this or is there a reason why i cant set myself to Administrator?

Welcome. Are you using the admin function or the forums admin moderators function?

Try using phpMyAdmin, specifically in the users table, set user_level = 2

There we go, that worked. I was thinking of doing that but wasn't sure if there was another way around it. Thank you evaders99 Very Happy
