Since when did nuke start displaying email addresses and using outlook pop-ups to send email to members?? Can this be turned off? My users are going to flip if they see their privacy violated with this feature.

or if the forum setting allow users to email through the site is set to no?

Cody, if this just started happening it could be related to the index.php file I replaced last night. Is that possible?

I'm not sure what was happening yesterday, but the broken profile link in stories is on my fresh install of 7.2 and on this site too.

The email thing ...
nuke profile Always show my Email Address: No
Again, on my fresh install, each time I hover over an "email" link, in memberships, there it is! my email address is in the status bar, and if I click on it, then OE opens up.

Not good. However... when I change the forums configuration...
User email via board
Users send email to each other via this board. Enabled ... then the problem goes away.

So, if I disable forums config option, emails addies are available even if the user chooses not to show their email addies. So, to protect email privacy the forums config must be enabled.

Okies... got that figured out.
