Global Variables

Is there a list of global and reserved variables PHP-Nuke (and PHP) so I'm sure when make a new module to not overwrite someone ?

Each version is different. Most of them are in the mainfile.php. Any variable that get set to something and is not inside of a function are it, for the most part.

Also in the config.php.

Depending on what Patched files you are using, many of these variables are being replaced with constants to stop exactly your situation.

As technocrat said, there's still everything in config.php
Also $file, $mode, $op, $name are usually reserved in the system
