Ok I want to offer WebMail to my subscription only users (people I know very well - not a for anyone that pays). Fairly simple. I know there is some sort of license issue with "WebMail" and nuke. But I still tried to install it off Nuke 7.1 but received an error.

Does someone have a WebMail type of system they can share? Very Happy

The more I'm reading I think I'm just SOL. I don't want to open the site to WebMail problems, AceMail doesn't seem to be around anymore, SquirelMail says they can by ported into nuke, but doesn't list the instructions, Horde is the same. Bang Head

I've never tried that ... how does it work? And will it bypass the plethora of log ins to use horde or squirelmail?

That's not what I'm looking for GHW .... but thanks for the suggestion.

What I'm looking for is a email pop script for my subscription users only. They already have accounts and would like to view the mail they have for that domain on that domain.

I don't want to give every tom, dick and harry email accounts or have access to mail from the domain unless I say it's ok. It's a control thing Smile

I dunno if my comments will help Webby, but I had a similar idea. I wanted to offer email services to registered members. After discussing it with Nukeum66 & a few others I realized I was opening myself up to all kinds of trouble doing that. I ended up going with a everyone.net and i-framing it in the "your account" area. They do allow you to check other mail, like from your ISP from their services.
Just so I could keep control of my mail, and know that any mail coming from my domain name was from me or someone on staff, I went with a subdomain for the mail-like mail.mysite.com. So far everyone is happy. Everyone.net hosts this on their server so I don't have to worry about security issues and I've even made a couple of bucks from those who upgraded to a larger account.
Something to think about....

I don't want to use everyone.net because of all the ads they fill the boxes with. I've used them before and didn't like them.

I guess I'll have to keep lookiing. May I'll just have to use nukewrap with Horde.

I know this one guy updated the Webmail module and you can download it from NukeScripts.net. Has all the features Webmail has but uses open source class file and attachments are not to receive or send anymore.
