Google announced today that it is enabling users for the first time to add either Atom 0.3 or RSS 2.0 feeds from Google News.

Finally! After playing formatting games to prevent tools like my SassaNews - Google Edition from working (I gave up trying to keep up with the never ending changes), you can finally add Google News search results with your own search words to your site as headlines with an RSS feed blessed by Google.

Simply search Google News using whatever search phrase / words you want to use. When the results are displayed, right click the RSS button and copy the link to the "RSS/RDF file URL" field in your PHP-Nuke Blocks Administration add a block function...

You can have multiple searches by adding multiple blocks. Enjoy!

It's not a download - you can use the RSS feed from Google in the RSS field when creating a block.
