Apache SpamAssassin 3.3.0 is a mature, wide-spectrum, extensible email filtering package deployed by hundreds of thousands of organizations worldwide.
Apache SpamAssassin 3.3.0 represents a major shift in how SpamAssassin rules (the actual patterns that help to identify spam) are updated. Rules are now separate from the core product and are instead downloaded using "sa-update," SpamAssassin's automatic update software. This method was optional with the 3.2.x series of releases and has proven to be very popular.
SpamAssassin provides a comprehensive set of features and support for methods and standards such as text based patterns, bayesian scoring, DNS based black and white lists, DKIM and SPF sender authentication, and email signature clearing houses. The software utilizes a principle of identifying multiple reasons for classifying an email as spam to improve accuracy and decrease the chance of legitimate emails being incorrectly identified as spam
Clan Themes is pleased to release the biggest BBToNuke pack ever to the nuke community
This pack contains 208 phpbb mods/hacks for your Nuke Forums collected from all over the web and the best part about it is that its all in one easy browsable html structure with every title and detailed description.
Categories are as follows:
Add Ons (47)

Do not use the Clear Expired Blocks function in NukeSentinel(tm) admin. A bug has been found that can completely empty your htaccess file. Instead delete each expired block by way of the Blocked IP's List. This function does not use the same logic as the mass clearing does and therefore does not have this danger.
PHP-Clans.com have found a fix for many people receiving the same problem when uploading and installing this module.
It seems that you download this module, upload to the correct locations and when you try to install/alter the sql tables you get redirected to the home page?
Or if that works fine, you enter your phpnuke downloads page, click the download you want to download and it give you a white page?
DESCRIPTION: Some bugs have been discovered in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat, which may cause an included ActiveX control to crash. The bugs are caused due to errors in the AcroPDF ActiveX control (AcroPDF.dll) when processing arbitrary arguments passed to the "setPageMode()", "setLayoutMode()", "setNamedDest()", and "LoadFile()" methods.
NOTE: Secunia has currently decided to treat these issues as crash bugs as further internal research and dialogue with the vendor indicates that no risk of potential remote code execution has been proven. Currently, only crashes have been confirmed by locally executing a WSF file (Windows Script File), which is considered an untrusted file type.
The bugs are confirmed in Adobe Reader 7.0.5 and 7.0.8 for Windows. They have also been reported in Adobe Reader 7.0.0 through 7.0.8 and Adobe Acrobat Standard and Professional 7.0.0 through 7.0.8 on the Windows platform. Prior versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION: The vendor recommends deleting AcroPDF.dll (this workaround will prevent PDF documents from opening in Internet Explorer). The vendor is currently working on an update for version 7.0.8 for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: Originally reported in the "LoadFile()" method by Michal Bucko (sapheal), hack.pl. Other bugs reported by FrSIRT.

On Chatroulette, a new and controversial Web site, every click lands you in a face-to-face video conversation with a random stranger.
The setup is simple: Activate your webcam and click "play." Then, as people from all over the world pop up one at a time in a box on your screen, you decide whether or not to chat with them. If you don't like the looks of things, click "next" and the site shuffles you to someone new.
The people you meet could be friendly. During a recent CNN test of the site, a man from France popped up on the screen wearing a jester's hat and telling jokes in French. Two men dressed as skeletons were having a dance party to techno music and flashing lights. A slouched-over man in Tunisia said he was tired because he'd been on the site for four hours.

Hello everyone, This is Scott Johnson aka - Nukeum66, I hope you all doing well.
I have recently been re-connected with a girl I went to High School with, Pam B.and she has told me about the needs of another classmate, Kim Dye. Kim resides at Drake Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio and has been there for over 11 years. Kim suffered a stroke after the birth of her second son; the stroke left her unable to care for herself. Moreover, she only has use of her right arm and is unable to speak. After Pam visited with Kim, it was very clear to Pam and others that Kim is capable of understanding everything that is going on around her, and desperately wants to communicate with everyone. She still has a great sense of humor and remembers a lot. She has communicated to everyone who visits her that she wants to write a book. Pam and I know we can help her achieve this goal. So, after Pam met with Kim's speech therapists and researching options she has found a device that will be easy for Kim to use and will help convert the text that she types on the computer into a voice.
If any of you are in the Cincinnati, OH area on June 28th, we are hosting a Bike Run and Party Bus to help raise funds for the communication device. We are attaching the flier for anyone interested in attending the event. If you could also pass it along to your contacts that would be greatly appreciated. Get the Bike Run information
If you or someone you know is unable to attend but would like to help by donating, we have set up a Pay Pal donation account for Kim. Its a safe, secure and easy way to contribute. Here's the link Donate to A Voice for Kim
I just released a new theme at http://www.harrykel.com . What is so unique about this theme isn't the theme itself but the site where we decided to release it from.
Harry Kel is the sole survivor of parents who survived the Holocaust in the most infamous death camp of the Third Reich, Auschwitz/Birkenau. Harry was born in a Displaced Persons camp in Foehrenwald Germany. His site is a massive collection of factual information which we have been researching for years.
Why not drop in and take a look, to get the theme you will have to become a member.
Internet Explorer 6 is a relic, but corporations continue to cling to it. At this point, IE 6 in the enterprise is common, but it’s nonetheless surprising when Intel—Microsoft’s long-time partner—is still using the ancient browser.
In a blog post walking through its implementation of Windows 7, Intel talked a lot about the “heavy lifting” involved with moving from XP to Windows 7.
Turns out the browser is part of the heavy lifting.
IMPACT: Unknown, Cross Site Scripting, System access

PHP Freaks is a great resource for Web Masters and everyone else using PHP. There is sadness in the community though. One of their own has passed away. Read the story.
As promised in the September 10, 2005 News Story on Michelle Ramos, in addition to my personal donation to the family I promised that all monies donated to this site during the month of September would be donated to her cause also. Your giving came to approximately $140 (net). Thanks so much! I will ask that we be given update ASAP. Thanks once again.

A new version of the popular TagClouds module for phpnuke-based CMSs has been just released, and its ChangeLog is as follow:
NukeTAGS 2.1 - 2010/01/21
TagClouds for pages whose access is restricted to non-registered users will no longer be gathered while visited by such users...
OPTIMIZE TABLE will be now used after expunging tags for old pages.
index.php?newlang=[lang] will be now ignored from being gathered.
Added a new configuration option which will control how to handle non-english (or non-yoursitelang, better say) pages. Previously we gathered pages the same way regardless the user's choosen-language, we'll now take this into account. What this mean, you ask? well, if your site's language is English and a user is viewing it in German, the tagclouds for your pages could be overwritten with German words as if they are in English. The new configuration option is 'langDiff' and its possible values are:
Do not handle pages which aren't in your site's language
Handle pages language regardless (that's how it worked previously)
Handle yoursitelang and non-yoursitelang pages individually.
Sorry for 2 releases in 2 days, but I had even more work I wanted to do to this block. Most of it is behind the scenes, but you want to be sure to read the CHANGES and the README.
v1.5 - Some of the changes: - Removed includes/RWH_wiw.inc.php
+ Moved the setting $refreshRate out of the block code into a configuration file: RWS_WhoIsWhere_config.inc.php.
+ Added "php" short tag to all scripts.
+ Removed all hard coded language to language folder.
+ All table names are now stored as defines in the lang file
+ Speed improvements
+ Almost 100% XHTML compliant
+ Finally fixed the style sheet problem with integration to your nuke style
v1.4 - Some of the changes: + Speed improvements
+ Almost 100% XHTML compliant
+ Security fixes
+ Code cleanup
+ Finally (Hopefully) fixed the style sheet problem with integration to your nuke style
The creator of MySQL has launched a Web-based campaign to "save" the open-source database from the "clutches" of Oracle, which is attempting to purchase its current owner, Sun Microsystems.
Oracle announced plans to buy Sun in April for US$7.4 billion, but the deal has been held up while European authorities conduct an antitrust review. One key concern of regulators, as well as open-source advocates, is the future of MySQL under Oracle, which holds a healthy share of the database market with its own proprietary product.
But if users speak up now, European authorities could stop the merger or force Oracle to provide certain concessions and guarantees around MySQL, Michael "Monty" Widenius said in a

Internet Explorer (Browser) has never been CSS standards compliant and has always cause heartache for developers. Version 6.x is one of the worst and, frankly, we (the RavenNuke(tm)), have grown tired of trying to support the very much out dated and antiquated browser! Please take part in our Survey so that we can get a feel for the potential impact of dropping support for IE6.x browser. Additionally, there is a forum thread that you might want to participate in: CSS 3.0 is going to be exciting!
That's right. Facebook is a technology company, serving billions and billions of pages each week (actually, over 100 billion per week, but I couldn't resist a nod to Carl Sagan and McDonald's). And doing so efficiently. So it should come as no surprise that the company has developed some unique software. On Feb. 2, the company released HipHop for PHP.
What is HipHop for PHP? Facebook describes it as:
...a source code transformer. HipHop programmatically transforms your PHP source code into highly optimized C++ and then uses g++ to compile it. HipHop executes the source code in a semantically equivalent manner and sacrifices some rarely used features — such as eval() — in exchange for improved performance. HipHop includes a code transformer, a reimplementation of PHP's runtime system, and a rewrite of many common PHP Extensions to take advantage of these performance optimizations.
This is a fascinating look behind the scenes of arguably one of the most successful websites ever (and certainly, one of the most successful PHP-based websites). But do so quickly before Google, Oracle or someone with higher revenues and / or stock valuation decides to snatch Facebook up...

Looking for theme ideas for your RavenNuke(tm) or PHP-Nuke site? Demo almost 500 themes at Themes For Nuke ( http://themes.fornuke.com ). The site currently runs RavenNuke 2.3, but an upgrade to RN 2.40.00 is being planned to enable the display of nukeNAV(tm). More themes will be added, and we are considering a download function as the themes currently installed there are either free, GPL, or both.

Over the last few weeks we have made a few important decisions, that we believe can positively impact phpBB development. These include changes to development infrastructure as well as our development model. I will briefly outline these changes here, more details will be posted on the blog or as an announcement soon.
Summers here are it's already hot. Almost as hot as the latest RavenNuke release.
How many of you have downloaded it and now have it running on your website? I bet alot of you have been surfing the web looking for a new block or module or even a new add-on for your site. Have you taken the time to ensure that your new addition was from a trusted source?
More and more people who run the most secure CMS there is are getting hacked through third party modules, add-ons, and other standalone applications.
How many of you have actually gone into your phpmyadmin and performed a complete backup of your database(s)? Afterall it's pretty easy to do.
-- Login to phpmyadmin
-- Choose the database to backup
-- Choose export
-- Look at the window and make sure that sql is checked under the export area
-- Download the structure and the data
-- I always choose the .zip option & save as file
-- Click on Go and find a real safe place on your desktop to store it.
-- I back mine up daily but that's personal preference
It won't keep your site from getting hacked through a third party application but it is invaluable if you do get hacked.
Remember to create a different database for each standalone application you have installed and back those up too.

The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 0.764.
SOLUTION: Update to version 0.764.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY: The vendor credits Kacper.
ORIGINAL ADVISORY: http://community.postnuke.com/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=2787
I have been around the technology field for 30+ years as a Network Engineer. I retired in 1996 and started a hobby on the web. Since that time I had several different web host.
Recently I was hosted on a server running a unmanaged VPS. One day out of the blue all of the websites I manage were down. I was told that the servers drive was corrupt and that the data was lost permanently. I had backups of all my data but the aggravation it caused me was too much.
So I started the process of searching for a new host when I thought of Raven's Web Hosting. I contacted Raven and in just a small amount of time I had a new host. He was great in getting me ready to go on-line. Professional courteous service has won me over. The fact that I felt I was taking care of the folks who depend on me while at the same time supporting the community. Look around, when you are truly a member of Raven's community he has everything to offer all members. Need good web hosting, it's there, how 'bout knowledgeable friendly people to answer your questions on a forum that covers just about everything. Want to keep informed on the important news about things that affect the security of applications, it's here too.
Excellent prices, good relationships with his clients and members has won me over. I can safely say that I will be a client for the long haul.
Let's all support the community that gives us so much. To design and code a secure feature rich CMS is a daunting task, but the talented RavenNuke(tm) team is highly qualified to reach their goals.
I have been around in my career and tested alot of software both commercial and open source and I can say this about RN 4. The team has done it again, they have added to an already stable CMS and produced an even better product.
The new Content Plus is HOT! And the wiki is informative now and I'm confident that it will get bigger and better.
I applaud the Raven Nuke team on making this CMS a bigger, better and more secure product than anything I have seen on the web ever. I can't wait for future releases. Forget the other Nuke's and stay with Raven Nuke (tm) you can't go wrong.
The RavenNuke(tm) Team are excited to announce that RavenNuke(tm) v2.40.01 is slated to be released the week of February 7th! This release culminates months of debugging and a few enhancements. Also to be included with this release will be a minor upgrade to NukeSentinel(tm), including a complete IP2C table refresh!
Just a note as to the planned future for RavenNuke(tm). Keep in mind that nothing is ground in stone. How fast we move and how much we can incorporate in any given amount of time is solely dependent on the amount of time the RN Team (voluntary army) can devote to the project. After factoring in their family obligations, job obligations, sanity obligations (R&R), vacations, etc., they can then devote the time left to RN. Oh yes, I forgot a few other small details: eating, sleeping, and waste removal .
How can YOU help, you ask? The biggest help would be to get someone or a group of people or a company or a group of companies that use(s) RN to sponsor the future development! If there was a set/minimum amount of money allocated each month or for a set of months to be dispersed amongst the development then I'm sure that would be the incentive to work a little harder and to cut into all their extra time that they devote to other things. This would be the best and fastest way to help develop the next major release which is going to be leaps and bounds above what we have done so far.
Any takers? How about it? Anyone work for a company that uses RN? If so, please talk with your management and contact me personally at sponsorship@ravennuke.com. For an open discussion concerning Sponsorship, please use this forum:

64bit has informed me that http://www.techgfx.com has died. This is unfortunate for the users that use the Nuke Platinum distribution.
Quoting 64bit "So where does that leave everyone that used Nuke Platinum. Well fortunately there is the Platinum Mods domain where you can get updates and fixes. While I only just registered there today (as I fix and update my domains completely on my own) I've heard that many in the community are making that domain their new home for Platinum Support. I think that Platinum Mods is being run by Technocrat who did most of the support over at techgfx.com in the first place, but after the fiasco at techgfx.com I have stayed out of the Platinum community completely, so I can't say anything about evolution of Platinum or who is even involved for sure."

Websense Security Lab™ ThreatSeeker™ Network has discovered that search terms related to Corey Haim have become the latest target for Blackhat SEO
Corey Haim, 1980s teen idol actor and a star of such famous movies as "The Lost Boys" and "License to Drive", was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment at the age of only 38 on Wednesday.
Whether it's a natural disaster or a death, Blackhats monitor and adapt to popular search trends. Not long after the sad news emerged, the search phrase "Corey Haim" became one of the hottest topics in Google trends.
Cybercriminals again jump at a chance to spread their rogue AVs. When users enter keywords such as "Corey Haim death" in Google, some of the results will lead them to download fake security software. The downloading FakeAV file has only 17% coverage from antivirus products.
Websense Messaging and Websense Web Security customers are protected against this attack.
PhpSecInfo provides an equivalent to the phpinfo() function that reports security information about the PHP environment, and offers suggestions for improvement. v3.5 of KISSQ has been released. This is a bug fix for the stand-alone version and a couple of internal tweaks. Since the same files are used for all versions you should download this update even if you run this as a nuke/post-nuke module. Thanks to user upennballer for finding this!
Say What?!? This is so totally off topic for this site, but to be honest with you, I can't help it! And to those whom I have turned away for off topic news, well, do as I say; not as I do
I do not own one, but I have seen them and actually held one. See for yourself here.
I was helping a family member about a month back get her blog and web site going and started thinking if I should give 'er a go. Well, I finally broke down and did it. Montego Musings is officially open! Feel free to debate, expound, etc. in the comments. However, spammers beware as I am "watching you"...

I have released a beta version of Nuke Reflections for RavenNuke(tm) for testing and feedback at Tricked Out News. I am aware of the remaining xhtml compliance issues and php warnings, I need some testers to find bugs with the gallery and report them to my forums. Thanks for your help.
Three of the four largest Internet service providers in the U.S. promised today that they will adopt policies requiring them to get meaningful permission from customers before tracking their online activities for targeted advertising purposes.
But the ISPs also took the opportunity to tell federal lawmakers at a U.S. Senate committee hearing that new legislation aimed at protecting online privacy isn't needed at this point.

I don't believe there is a true definition that covers malware. The spectrum in a classic sense is too broad to define as one thing or another. Malware takes on many forms and affects ones computer in various ways. If you have a suspected malware infection, which tool do you use to clean your system and how do you tell that malware may be present on your computer.
Let me give a couple of examples. If your browser suddenly starts to act up by offering up 404 'Page Not Found' errors when you attempt to browse to certain sites. The sites may be grouped into a specific category such as sites which offer virus detection tools or online scans. Your internet connection (DSL) slows down, or your resident email starts to act up strangely and the list goes on but is generalized as something about your computer that has changed and you can't figure out why.
A deep rooted malware may not be discovered by the best anti-virus detection software out there. Even when you run your rootkit detection software it may not find anything out of the ordinary. Or when you suspect that your browser has been hijacked but detection software rules it out or can't find an infection, even when using powerful software such as Spybot Search & Destroy, or AdAware.
So how can it be best discovered and destroyed? I discovered a small tool which does it's work in DOS and is as complicated and potentially dangerous to use as it is useful in problem solving.
