Dit the installation about 5 times now.
All clean new installations.
It is not in the main root, but i believe that isnt a problem anymore.
Everythings ok till i try to register a new account for testing it.
I can fill in the form just well but if i press the "continue" button it does nothing.
I looked in the table and it dit not get there to.
It is from the same computer so its the same ip, but i guess that that has nothing to do with it.
Any idea's? |

If you are using a different prefix for $prefix & $user_prefix don't. There is a bug in the installation that one of the 6 ( I think it is 6) user tables is installed with the $prefix and not the $user_prefix.
If that is not it are you sing one of the stock themes? |

Did you turn on dblog in rnconfig (see instructions, set log level=1) and see if any database errors are being generated? If not, try that: if there is a problem with the MYSQL tables it will show up there and nowhere else. |

Well ive dit that but nothing is added in the dblog file.
So ...
Or im doing something wrong (set the 1 and the file 666) or there is no error.
Maybe try a older version of ravennuke? |

If nothing is added to dblog then there is no error. You could verify that dblog is working correctly by setting loglevel to 2 and seeing if all the sql is written out. Just don't leave it set to 2 for very log because the file will accumulate quickly that way. If you get sql written out with the 2 setting you know logging is working.
An old version of ravennuke is not the way to go. 2.30 is the first one to include RNYA (built on CNBYA) and 2.30.01 includes some important security fixes. Verify for us that your log file is working and that no errors are being written when you try to register a user and also answer Palbin's question about what theme you are using.
How are you trying to register a new user? Are you going through the admin screen in Your Account? What happens if you try the normal user registration process ... set up a gmail account to test with and come in as anonymous and see if you can register a test user. See if the gmail account gets an activation link. Let us know. |

Set it on 2 and everything and worked just fine.
On 1 nothing gets changed.
So i guess nothing is wring with the DB.
The cant register is with as a new test member.
I get on the site anonymous and try to create a different account with a different email.
OK ... ive got why it isnt working but dont know the reason.
Problem is my hotmail email.
Doesnt that work on ravennuken? |

That shouldn't be causing a problem.
Please can you turn on error reporting on in the config.php file as well please. |

Nope, it's a new and clean installation.
So no block, themes or anything.
And yes ive used anouther explorer. (after you asked)
And no nothing differend.
Gonna delete the whole site again, the tables, everything...
And try it install again.
When that doesnt work, then i'll try a old version again because im out off idea's. |

Well i used like 10 differend (virtual) emails ad they all seem to work.
Only that one looks like not working.
Gonna ask a few people to try to create a account.
And if that work it will be fine i guess.
Still strange what the problem is.
Maybe i'll stumble on it one time and let you know.
Thanks for all the fast help. |

Try to reupload the Your_Account module to your webserver. It looks like something in there may not have uploaded correctly. |
