Hi

sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum.

Please can someone tell me how I can make a one page module called chatrooms using a cut and paste javascript code, so that it is only available to registered users on my nuke site.

I used the nuke tools module creator to make a module with the chatroom free code, this worked.

I have since up graded buying the full rooms, but the module page when uploaded just turns into a white page.

any help will be much appreciated thanks.

many thanks Dragonies

that should be easy enough....
but did you checked the file?
The generator you mention not allways closes the last line properly.
that results in a blank page.. Razz

Hi Hitwalker

soon as I asked I figured out what was wrong.

I noticed that there was some \ slashes within the javascript coding so I took those out as it is supposed to be in green or blue or red for javascript. I also put the closing php tag before the javascript chatroom code to see what would happen. (I am one of those types I like to play with coding etc to see what happens as I figure I cant really break anything Very Happy)

I did this and uploaded it to test it and it worked. So I then just edited it a bit and looked along the string for familiarities of coding. So yes soon as I asked I checked the string of coding and spotted it right away.

not bad for a newbie to javascript and php? learning tricks of the trade already Very Happy

Thank you for getting back in touch.

best wishes
Dragonies
