I hate to have to post all this but i cant seem how to make the auto activation work for 6.9. Well here is my code.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct one? There's one for 7.0 and then there's one for the 6.x series. It works on 6.9.

And you just replaced the one function, correct? I tested it here and it worked. What exactly is or isn't happening when you try it?

Well after you click on finish its just going to the login screen. then you cant login.

There's no reason to email you the hacked code - you have it in the download. Just replace the one function with the like-named function in my hack.

Check you php log and/or your server error log. It sounds like maybe there's an error that you're not seeing.

Well, most hosts have links in their control panel to the error logs. If not, ask your host to email you the logs.

Were you installing my replacement function in a virgin copy of index.php or had it been modified for something else?
