Another Table Question

I have read through the documentation that came with KISGB and this forum but I cannot see the answer to my problem - in fact I am not sure if what I am trying to do is possible.

The site I am building has a main page called portal.php in which there areseveral tables the main two being a menu table and a main data table. The menu table has the pages listed in it and uses the following code

Code:

<a href="portal.php?id=3">Guest Book</a>

This then returns to the main portal page where there is the following code

Code:

switch ($id)
case 3:
include ('./guest_book/index.php');

When this option of the menu is selected then all I get is a blank page with the following in the top right hand corner

Code:

logs/kisgb.log.php

If I chang the code for the index to be

Code:

<a href="./guest_book/index.php">Guest Book</a>

The I get the guest book comming up on the page but not within the main table.

I realise that this is something to do with paths and directories but I am at a loss to work out what I am doing wrong.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this to work - or is it not possible to do what I am trying to do?
