I decided today to go for Ravens nuke package with sentinel included .
This was based on that I probably should have used it in the first place. Nuke 78 works great, but found that when I put in the patches, maybe I did it wrongly, it just gave us a white page, so then i had up upload the original folders. Senitenl did install ok in nuke 78, but, I found the module turned up in the menu tree and when you clicked on it it was just a blank white page and I need to learn about htaccess.
Can some one confirm for me one way or another if some of the phpnuke modules will work in ravensnuke or will I have to wait till they get ported? What I want to add in is a multiple chatroom, fictioneer, enchanted poetry that you can get from emchanted casltes.net, webcam module
sorry for any ignorance.
I decided I wanted to have a properly protected site and not run the risk of being hacked again like I had in the past.

Unfortunately, the answer will always be "depends". Please keep in mind that RavenNuke76, in its current "incarnation", is just base PHP-Nuke 7.6 with the 3.1 patchset, with NukeSentinel. (Yes, there are a few module replacements, an additional theme, and a few added modules, but from a "combatibility" standpoint, these are not relevant to the question.)
Therefore, that is why the reason is always "depends". What you get is a solid nuke release, patched, and NukeSentinel already integrated, and an awesome and easy installation tools! Might as well take the "plunge"...
