I have just installed a beta site in a subdomain of my main site and everything seems to work just fine except that I get a blank Access Denied page for the main index page. Any ideas? Everything else seems to work fine.

Yes it does have the correct subdomain in the preferences. However, I spoke too soon saying that everything else seemed fine. I also cannot access the forums config control panel. It just comes up a blank page.
