Very Happy

KISSQ 3.0, php 4.06, mysql 3.23.56, apache 1.3.2, postnuke 7.2.3 -phoenix

Hello

I have downloaded and installed the Stock Quote module and block successfully. Strange thing is happening! When I have $loadSQAtStartup = FALSE in the Stock_Quote.php block ; everything works fine. However, when I have $loadSQAtStartup = TRUE; when I click on a stock symbol, the info for that stock is displayed in the center block but I get the following javascript error:

Line: 354
Char: 2
Error: 'document.stock.Symbol" is null or not an object
Code: 0

and I am not able to add another symbol until I turn loadSQAtStartup = FALSE ????

Thanks for the great postnuke addon.

Jack

To be honest with you, I have not heard of this issue before, but you are correct. There is something weird going on when that is set to TRUE. The good news is, is that there is a work-around - leave loadatstartup=false. I will look into this and get back with you soon. I need to also determine if this is only in the PN version or also in the nuke version. Thanks!

As far as I can tell this is not happening in phpnuke. It appears to be unique to Postnuke. I will continue working on it.

Have you had a chance to look at the javascript error?

No and to be truthful it will be a while. My work situation has changed drastically and I am not doing much pleasure work Crying or Very sad . As I said, you have a work around and that's the best I can offer right now. Of course, you could always switch to phpnuke Wink - then you wouldn't have the problem.
