Hi-

I have created a new database with the 76 distro and 2.0.1.8 forums. I then transfered all db info from my nuke 7.5 site to save all forum posts and registered members.

All went well with one exception.

the bbcode within the forums is not working at all. [i] or [color=red] or [B] or [img] or [URL] etc.

I went to forum ACP and checked to make sure BBCODE was set to allow and it was. Any other idea's why this wouldnt be working?

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

AD

Sorry if this post topic was already covered and I couldnt find it.

With ravens 7.6 distro I had simular problem, after hrs trying to find solution I decided to try another approach and replaced bbcode.php (in the includes folder in the root) with one from another install older nuke install I had and whala I had working BBCode.

I have tried redownloading the 7.6 one and reinstalling it and once again no bbcode. So I guess there is some problem with that file in ravens distro. I don't know if I possibly opened myself to attack by useing an older bbcode but given that everything else is secure and no one knows which version of the bbcode file is installed I'm not to woirred. Although I would love some input from Raven Please Very Happy

Guardian2003, do you recall if you tested 1.x or was it the latest 2.02?

Retested for both releases and no issues found.

nightdreamer, welcome! This is an issue with the 2.0.20 BBtoNuke patch, if I recall correctly. The 2.0.21 patch seems to have fixed it, at least in the upcoming RavenNuke 2.10.00 release.
