I'm having the same problems you dark-dude, but it's kinda reversed. It shows me as "Site Admin" in my rank, but it doesn't let me be "Administrator". Sad

I already put "2" in user_level too. What should I do?

I went in and made sure all of my html/admin folders were set to 777 and it started working. Hope this helps

Thanks, that fixed one of my earlier problems. But the message board still doesn't let me be admin.
