I'm wondering ... using just the htaccess file if you want to disallow whole countries would a .htaccess file like this work good enough?

Code:
<Files .staccess>
  deny from all
</Files>
<Files config.php>
deny from all
</Files>
order allow,deny
allow from all
deny from .tk
deny from .ru

This does not leave out sentinel by the way ... Sentinel gives way more other options than just disallowing countries but it's quite a deal to stuff all those ranges in if you want to disallow a whole country Neutral

Even if that would work, that assumes that the domain name ends in .XX where XX is the country of origin, which is not often the case. The most accurate and complete way to ban an entire country is to ban the IP ranges of that country. BTW, it really only takes about 5 minutes to manually load those through the NukeSentinel(tm) admin screen.

Yes you are totally right ... I went through it the wrong way at first ... using the IP range listing so it took for ages. Guess I should've read the manual a bit better aye hahahaha.

Thanks you guys Smile
