Upgrading to 6.9 --> 7.0 Got some problems

I try to run the upgrade file and get this:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_die() in /home/sqzdog/public_html/db/db.php on line 88

What did I do?

This means either your upgrade script is not in the same folder as config.php or your MySQL parameters in your config.php are not set correctly.

Well, I kinda acted like a scared pup and restored it back to 6.9. I was certain that I followed the directions properly so when it didn't work I just put it back. Maybe next time. Thanks for replying.

I upgraded to 7.0, made sure my config was the same and the upgrade was smooth as silk..

Still not sure what to do with the points system tho.. Very Happy

I am still getting this problem after trying to do the upgrade again. I created a new database and named it nuke7, uploaded the sql script to create the tables, changed the config file and placed it in the root, then attempted to run the upgrade and I get the message that is at the top of this topic. Need help

You can't upload the sql script. You have to use phpMyAdmin to load/create the database. Then, you don't run any upgrade scripts because it is already v7.0

Do ihave to load all the language files or just english (since this is local site)

You only have to load the language(s) that you will allow. Keep in mind that there are MANY language folders, not just the main one.

Raven, when approximately do you anticipate releasing your 7.0 package? I might just wait until then to try this again.
