I want to add a user birthdate feature; what's my option? where should I look for that kindda thing?

Maybe look at the Approve Membership module.
If u are looking at birthdays, I ass-u-me , here, no doubht u would possibly be looking at other details...Gender, city, country, etc.
These feilds could also be added as optional or required upon registration at the same time. |

CNB Your Account 5.0.0 public beta 1 will probably be released somewhere November. It features a lot of membership features but also a configurable birthday field and optional countdown. Stay tuned...
