I am using your 6.9 version and can't remove admins from my forums unless I go to phpmyadmin. Do I need to fix something? |

No, leave it broken. That always helps
Seriously , since I and thousands of others are using 6.9 and do not have this problem, I would reckon that it's due to a mod or addon that you have. Have you done any mod's to Forums or Nuke? What happens when you try? Have you reviewed your Apache error log to see if that tells you anything? Since we know it does work at the start, do you know at what point it might have stopped working? How are you trying to remove them? |

It says "couldn't update private forum permissions" I could swear I have gotten this error since day one. Nothing in the error log either. I have made the slightest change to admin_users.php but it is just for a custom title. |

Search here for 'couldn't update private forum permissions' . Have you tried those solutions? |

I am currently experiencing two issues.
1. Cannot remove admin. I have to use phpmyadmin.
2. Cannot update user profile using forums admin. I have to use nuke users admin.
I have really not done much in my forums as far as mods. I installed an attachment mod and a custom title mod. This issue was arround before those installs. |

I would be looking at any nuke mods you have done that altered the nuke_users table. The nuke_users table is what nuke and forums have in common. My guess is that you have added nuke mods that altered the nuke_users table and when the forum modules try to read and/or write to the nuke_users table it can't. You might try turning on sql debug in includes/sql_layer to see if any errors are being thrown. |

I was able to find the fix to the "can't update private forums permissions" here.
I will work on the second issue using your advice. This has happened to me beofore with the database.
Thanks! |
