Hello all,
this is a list of problems :
1- in reviews module: the page break tag doesn't work ! if you logged in as admin and write a review you can split your document to multiple pages using :
Code:
 <!-- pagebreak -->

In phpnuke 7.7 + patch 3.0 this code doesn't work!
2- In the jounals module: after you post an entry you can't view it !
When you try to view your journal entry you will see a blank page
3- in the jounal module: when you try to edit your entry you will see 2 editors ( htmlarea + normal phpnuke 7.7 editor ) Very Happy
4- I think this version need to test more and it's a RC version by now.
Thanks to nuke community
Mansour

Yes 7.7 is RC material and as such its patch will reflect this, the Journal module has been taken out of the patch for the time being, users should upload the one included with core 7.7 even if it does have vulnerabilities, as for the Reviews module, does the pagebreak work on an unpatched 7.7 site?

Since six seems to still be missing i went through the Journal files and think i have corrected it so that it will work with 7.7 without problems, as soon as the CVS is updated i will update the zips. I need feedback on the Reviews module, from anyone using 7.7 without Nuke Patched, does pagebreak work even with the wysiwyg editor? I would think it won't.

Dear Chatserv,
I tested and compared both phpnuke 7.7 original and phpnuke 7.7 with your security patch 3.0 ( updated on 29/04/2005 ).
1- Journal module in original version works but in the patched version :
- we can't view the journal entry and a blank page appers
- when we try to edit an entry we have two HTML editor
2- I tested the page break tag on phpnuke 7.7 original( reviewas module ) and it doesn't work on it and also on patched version
Hope you remove HTML Area editor from journal module and provide a secure journal module with the phpnuke 7.7's editor .
I'll check all modules in last hours and let you know the results
Again thank you very much for your great helps to Nuke communities.
Regards
Mansour

You can grab the fixed Journal module from the CVS, i didn't need to remove the editor, i just adapted the module for it, as for the Reviews module i figured the pagebreak would not work, the editor takes over, pretty much the main reason i have never used of the few wysiwyg add-ons that have been released for Nuke in the past.

Dear Charserv
I tested and compared both versions .
Journal module works on the original version . page break tag in Review module doesn't work in both versions
Hope you provide a complete patch for this release

If you still have a non patched Nuke 7.7 site can you test if the browse option works in the editor for adding images or flash movies? i'm getting reports it doesn't.

In 7.7 can i reamove the tiny editor form the phpbb text areas (where the BBcode is).

I wnat to have only the phpbb editor there and not phpnuke becouse first of all bbcode is not working second i can not have Greek characters displayed propertly.
