What is Google Tap?

Newbie question ----> what is Google Tap? If I use it, which should I use?

Googletap is a mod that uses htaccess and some edits in other files that makes your site search engine friendly.

A nuke site without GT has links such as:

Code:

reviews.html

and with GT will be

YOURSITE.com/reviews.html

In essence it allows the bots to go deep into your site and index your site much more thoroughly than it would searching through the .php extensions.

I'm sure this explanation falls short of the whole, but that is the jist of it.

Fairly.

Basically you will need to edit (if you have) your

Code:

.htaccess
robots.txt

admin.php
config.php
header.php
footer.php

/includes/session.php

If you want the engines to go deeper there are some other edits to make.

It has made a tremendous difference in my sites engine presence and with exception to the edits (for upgrading reasons) it's a + to me.
