Not sure if this is the right place for this, but 2 of my users are suddenly having problems using the forums.
They always read the forum via the 'view new posts since last visit' link and for the last few days when they click on one of the new posts since last visit that come up in the search they are taken to a blank white page with 'illegal content' on it and nothing else.
Now the only thing I have changed recently on the site is the usual update of Sentinel (not saying it's Sentinel just saying what I've installed or updated recently) and a secure scrolling forums block. The one that is mentioned on this site that allows smilies to be shown.
The only thing I altered on the block before uploading it was to remove the lines that called for the smilies as I didnt want them showing in the block.
There are no problems with the forum other than this one with the 'new posts since last visit'.
I checked it out myself, and clicked on the link and got the same white page with illegal content on it. So it must be happening for everyone who uses that link.
I deactivated the block to see if it made any difference and it didnt, still got illegal content.
So I'm assuming it's not the block causing the problem.
Here's the block I'm using:

Now as you know I'm also getting problems in my Admin Panel. Not all new blocks show in the drop down list when I make a new block, some do some dont, and I can't change anything in the site preferences I get 'html tags not allowed' come up.
So I'm wondering are these things all connected or just coincidence?
It's all going pear shaped now and I think it's beyond my technical ability to see what's causing the problems, or even if they are connected in anyway.
