I am sorry if this is not where to post this. If it needs to be moved that is ok.
Ok, I got my new webserver today. I installed phpnuke 6.8 and everything appears to work fine. Well that is untill I tried to add a user, it just goes to a blank page and does not add it. When I tried to register as a user, it sent me an email, I went to the link to activate and it tells me, no such user. Please help. |

Oh, a little more info. I can add admins, just not users
So I am pretty sure phpnuke is accessing the db correctly. Uggggg. |

This sounds like you may not have set your Site Url correctly in Preferences. Make sure that it points to the folder where config.php is located and that config.php is in the same folder as mainfile.php. It should be or or something like that. |

Is my sight, if you would like to see what it does.
You register.
Get an email
Click Link
And tells you there is no user in the db.
I changed the website url from to in the prefrences pannel, and still does not work. But at least now you get a valid link. |
