ok im beginning to understand the load data story but im lost on a few things.....

i think i got the command right but if i have like a list that i call CD1...
i cannot figure out how to include the info that all is cd1 and that should go into the field "label"...

so if i have a list like this...

titel artist CD1
Rain Or Shine - Five Star
Broken Wings - Mr. Mister

And to show you what i mean.......

Thats used on the form i made when i do it all by hand...

So with a new list i type in the artist and songtitel AND the CD

So how do i do that when using the load data stuff.
btw it also seems to be possible to use ..LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE
But im still puzzeled with the "label" question...

hi raven ,if you read this..
its solved.......
a programmer wrote me a php file to import the whole stuff....all i have to do now is change a few lines and i can use it to import all my files....
so i can sleep again..... Razz
