Whenever I change any settings using the Admin pannel it crashed the Guest Book.

I used the Theme Builder to modify an existing theme and saved it as a new theme. When I choose the theme I modified, the privew on the right does NOT match any the theme I made. If I make a change and use REBUILD to save the changes, it does nothing. The changes do not take effect.

Here is the Guest Book:

Since there are no known issues like this with the guestbook and it is in use in thousands of sites it seems to focus on your setup/environment. Make sure that you have set the permissions properly as instructed in the documentation.

I have set the permitions excatly as the install instructions have stated. The guestbook works fine, it is just the admin pannel is not stable. As well as the Theme Builder.

The Guest Book itself works fine.

Can you PM me your admin id and password so I can see what you are talking about? Also, please zip your user.prefs.php file and email it to me at raven at ravenphpscripts dot com .

Just for closure, the problem was a syntax error in your user.prefs.php file. Once I corrected your syntax error it works perfectly Wink

First of all, your email address keeps bouncing as your mailbox is full Smile

Next, the documentation explains about setting permissions on a couple of files and folders. Have you done that?
