I am sorry about this but I just want to make sure I have got things right before I take the plunge. I have 6.5 and want to go to 6.9. So I back up my database, upload all the files over wrighting my 6.5 except for the config.php. Then I call the upgrade scripts 1 at a time from my browser 6.5 to 6.6 then 6.6 to 6.7 then 6.7 to 6.8 and lastly 6.8 to 6.9 is this correct please. |

You will also need to replace your config.php file. Just make note of your MySQL settings and transfer those to the new 6.9 config.php file. |

Many thanks Raven, everything updated like a dream, just a bit of work on the language file, and all OK. I have removed my Avatar, I felt it may be causing some offence. Thanks once again. Freeby |

Freeby,
Great to hear! I hadn't noticed your avatar, but thank you for being sensitive in that way. If I had found it offensive I would have contacted you, so either I didn't or I was off in outer programming space again |
