I have been trying to fix the mess I've made. Crying or Very sad So I tried installing the fixed 7 version from Chatserv and I get this error..

Warning: message_die(language/lang_english/lang_main.): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/php/includes/functions.php on line 700

Warning: message_die(): Failed opening 'language/lang_english/lang_main.' for inclusion (include_path='.:/php/includes:/usr/share/php') in /var/www/html/php/includes/functions.php on line 700
phpBB : e

Could not connect to the database

Now before I just had no menu from trying to install a mod. I thought this would maybe fix the language file that seems to be eluding me. After getting this error I went back and put Raven's Custom Version in. Still getting this error. Now the whole dang site is down.
Any ideas??

Thanks in advance......

Themis,

I will get with you today. The message_die means your MySQL parameters in config.php are not correct to connect with your database.

Raven,

I just thought I would post to let you know I actually fixed something myself!! Groovy

After weeks of messing things up and you fixing some things, I finally figured out what to do to get rid of the CZM module mess. Mr. Green

Doh Bang Head I finally realized I had only to replace the admin module.php file. Smile) All better now! Well still have the stupid name but at least I can set my modules again.

*Pats self on back* Cheers

UUUUGGGG Best not celebrate too quick. I can now edit, activate, and deactivate the modules that are already installed. But I can't seem to get new modules to show up after installing them.

Can't figure it out. Have even tried very simple ones that you just upload. And it won't show up in the module list.

So much for thinking I had a clue Embarassed

There are six 7.x versions so i can't tell you how many fields your modules table should have, compare it to the code in nuke.sql, most likely you have more or less fields than those required, if the fields match what's on nuke.sql then the files most likely are for another version of Nuke (admin/modules/modules.php and blocks/block-Modules.php)

Uggg Chatserv Neutral I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about there. Do you mean the two different data bases? Do fields equal records?

I have Raven's 7.0 custom version to which I tried to fix things at one point by using your 7.0 fixed. Only the lord and Raven know what I have messed up here. He went in and fixed it to get me back online and installed the sommaire program for me.

I thought I had got rid of all the files from trying to get a menu with the CMZ module. I can now edit, activate and inactivate the already installed modules. But no matter what I do I can't get newly installed modules to show up.

When I look at my admin panel it still calls the module button CMZ modules. But when I click it, things seem to look as the original set up is.

I have deleted and replaced both of the files you mention above with the ones from Ravens distro. I have removed everything I can find that even mentions CMZ.

I am the newest of newbs, talk to me as a child please. Wait most of them know more than I do! Bang Head
