History..may help somethuing I screwed
Have hosted 2 sites 4 a yrs or so nps locally
Added nuke 7.5 as a 3rd...
it couldnt be seen externally, edited the httpd.conf file virtaul host part and fixed
Changed header Banner size manually.
Got smtp server going (PostCast (freeversion quite nice) didnt have to edit any files.
in the admin/sections that comes up with a sql error...not realy worried about this (i think lol)
I dont know at what stage following happened or if it was from intial install
1/ cant regist new user on localhost unless super addim is logged in...nor can login unless super admin is logged in.
2/cant regist or logg in remote even if super admin is logged
remote users have had cookies enabled etc etc this has been eliminated.
3/ if super admin is logged in, and remote guest (not even logged in) uses
Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login to the forums!
they go straight in with full super admin permissions!!!
Apache/mysql I really dont know much on these other that loading a data base or dropping one.
