Easy Bug: (blank) "writes" then story content

Hi Raven & Crew.
I have a problem when stories are submitted by users, then posted by me. It was working before the upgrade from 6.0 now it's not. Here's the deal:

that shows what I'm talking about.

The 3rd line begins with writes ". There's a variable there that's supposed to pick up the submitter's name. Here's the relevant code (I think) from the theme.php:

} else {
if($informant != "") {
$boxstuff = "<a href=\"modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&uname=$informant\">$realName</a> ";
} else {
$boxstuff = "$anonymous ";

$boxstuff .= "".translate("writes")." \"$thetext\" $notes\n";
echo "$boxstuff\n";
}

The following line could be responsible, seems your theme was designed for 6.0:

uname should be username, where does $realName get defined? most likely it is also looking for uname instead of username i would change $realName to $informant
