In a nutshell there are GET POST SEARCH TRACE DELETE OPTIONS HEAD and several other valid "Request Methods". But there are some exploits that rely on specific methods. Such as SEARCH, TRACE or DELETE. That you need not allow to use your site. I'd say this is a rather experimental feature right now and use with a bit of caution.
Never add POST or GET to the blocker list it will essentially disable the website to everyone.
