good install

Raven, the only problem I had was with the installer, couldn't get it to work. Installing via regular means was a piece of cake. On a side bar, I am using myIE2, and your sixty second refresh pops a new window every 60 seconds, lol Very Happy

MyIE2 is a addon for IE that allows tabbed browsing. It is mistaking your Who Is Wear block refresh for a popup and opens it in a new tab. All the page says is 60 second refresh, no big deal at all. Steve

In your case, you would have to create the database ahead of time in cPanel. Did you do that and then try to use the installer?

I created the db, and tried to use the installer from that point, and failed. The installer returned my name and password, plus the db name correctly, but said I didn't have the correct permissions to connect to MySql.. I am the only user and I have all permissions. I then went to your sql file and changed all the '$prefix' to 'nuke' and manually installed the db. From there I made sure the config.php was correct and then went to admin.php. Should I try a different method? Steve

One last thing. I ran a check from phpmyadmin and got the following:

Then I ran repair:

Probably inconsequential, but thought I'd mention it.

Taht is a MEMORY/HEAP table and is not stored on dasd so MySQL won't/can't repair it Smile
