Update forums profile problem

When I update my profile from forums it messes up my login. I have to log out and back in for cookies to work right. The site info block just says "welcome, (blank here)" and I have to log in again to fix it. If I close my browser it logs me out completely.

I'm not quite sure what you are asking but this happens at my site when I try to update my profile. There is no email sent out when you update your profile.
