how did you give them moderator? by group or user? Have you double checked the permissions for the forum? go to Permissions "advanced mode" and make sure all is ok, also double check the group permission if you used one. Sounds to me like a misconfiguration of the forum permissions rather than a bug, but check it out.

HI , I give permissions as a single user and went to the User Admin and clicked on the Permissons link and put his username in... I then click the look up user and added the mod status to that individual forum.
This is something I have done countless times before.
I`ll try the permissions then advance mode.
Cheers

Very strange I checked everything and the members shows he is not part of a group and only has the permissions for that forum...which is fine, i decided to register under a different name and entered the forums and posted.... it showed I was now the moderator of the forum, well it showed the rank I made that the mod uses?????
Totally lost

Decided to check the rank I made and even though I clicked it on toe be a special rank, I noticed this time it add a 0 for the posts so I deleted that to show nothing and all now appears to of resolved itself Smile
