I noticed that the modules are using
Code:
$module_name = basename(dirname(__FILE__));

Rather then example:
Code:

$module_name = 'Your_Account';

But nothing like it in the admin links and case files making renaming modules permanently limited to the admin>>module >>edit>> modulename or hacking about in the actual files.

I'd request adopting this in admin links and case files.
Code:
$module_name = basename(dirname(dirname(__FILE__)));

This would make a quick fix for changing module names by renaming the directory.

Any issues with this method?[/code]

I have always use it and never had a problem with it nor anybody have ever reported something.

Agree, we need to make it standard for us...

I thought I replied to this yesterday, but I have entered the request into our issue tracker.

This has been completed for the next release. I can not guarantee that there are not other hard coded thing, but all $module_name variables have been changed.
