Wanting to upgrade to Raven from phpnuke but problems

I already have a page...its up running but i want to upgrade to RN so i downloaded 2.4 and put it in a subfolder of Public/html on site...created the _ravennuke3 database in sql....but from here i am lost...how do I install the files....I tried to do exactly what the readme said but got a 404 error.....am a supernoob(or so I feel now) can you please help...point me in the right direction or tell me sit down hush and stop playing with websites....lolol

So you haven't been able to get to the database installation? If this is the case you need to do the following. Navigate to the root folder of the site and then add the following to the url /INSTALLATION/installSQL.php. It you navigate to your site and you get a 404 message instead of a message about a missing db I'm not sure what the problem might be. You could try removing the htaccess file in the root of your site.

Also remember to add the info to your config.php i find a lot of people fail to do this.
