How do I change the navigation on the left? Im trying to add menu and delete some of the default ones on index page.

I assume you are referring to the modules block. If so, you can see the code in the /blocks directory under block-modules.php. It basically reads in a list of your modules, classifies them and lists them. You could hack this (though I'd leave the original intact and save it under another name) and then activate it where the old modules was through block management of the ACP. Or you could start from scratch and create a new block that is mostly just html and lists the things you want to navigate to and their links.
