Hello there
I have such two files: nickGen.html, nickGen_Scripts.html.
I want to create a module on my site where people can color their nicknames, you know:
^7Enemy ^3Territory ^1Player
I download these files from one site and one guy suggested me to:
"9 out of 10 CMS have the "custom page" option in admin panel so its just copy-paste to there"
I looked through admin panel but no such option where found by me : / Can you help me?
Kind regards,
Karol
I run RN 2.4.0 |

You could probably use the Content Plus module for that. If that doesn't work let me know, and we can get something to work for you. |

Hym, if i was supposed to use Content Plus for that...how will it look like? There isnt any option for uploading files from you machine...sry, am still the beginner and some things may look complex to me even though they are completly trivial
I have one more question...I have some useful text in Content Plus but some site viewers may have problem with finding that. Lets say that i have Site Rules file in Content Plus...is that possible to creat a module that could connect you with the adress of where this Site Rules file is? You know, module called Site Rules and when you click on it, then you automatically go to Site Rules file in Content Plus.
Kind regards,
Karol |

If it's just 2 html files you need turned into a module, pm me the files or the link to download them and I will make them into modules for you. It is actually really easy to make simple html modules for RavenNuke. I have a do it yourself html module for download on my site. |

You can turn the WYSIWYG editor in Content Plus to source mode and you can then paste the HTML into the editor.
You can also create a basic module file that re-redirects to the page your want, this will then appear in the menu. |

Have a look at the How To Install file within the modules directory, this should give you an idea of what to do to redirect. |

To make a custom link in the nukeNAV menu you can do one of two things.
or to make a redirect module

You can also put a link to the content plus page in your opening message. That way, assuming the message is activated, it is right at the top of the home page and you can emphasize the link with a large font or bolding or whatever. |

Another option is to create a custom block, left, right, center whether you want. |

If it is just for site rules, you can use the built in Legal Docs module, just use the option to create a new page and write whatever you want. |

I had created a personal module for handling static pages such as this one:
But, in reality, that isn't much different than using something like Content Plus. The key problem is the navigation. We REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need a melding between nukeNAV (including the modules replacement block) and Sommaire to enable more complete navigation options, and then that really opens up many options in terms of modules to provide content pages. |
