Would like to know how to add all the news for a certain topic to a page and add gcalendar only showing certain categories.

For instance when I go to the add content, I would like to have gcalendar up top, followed by my content, then all the news for a specific topic.

You would need to write a new module to do this or do some extensive re-writing of one of the other modules to retrieve the extra data you need to show.
A new module would probably be better.
