I am confused about the User Groups. Only Administrator and Moderator seem to be active at the bottom of my forums. Also when i try to edit permissions for the forums i have only a select few options (Public, Registered, Moderator and Private, the last 3 also containing [hidden] options.)

I guess my question is can the forum permissions be dictated by the groups that i have made.
For example i want only the 'admin' group to be able to post bans in one forum.
I want only 'top' members to see the recruit voting section |

Set the forum or options to private then go to group permissions and select the forum in question. |
