For some reason i am getting this error on all user names that are being created. I can post on the name i made when i first created the site(gave me an option for superadmin and username) I made them different. My username allws me to post to the forums, but no other users that have registered are able to. Ive made a test user and logged on from my PC as well and that user is not able to post, same error.
Using latest ravennuke and recently upgraded to this version of phpbb 2.0.23
I am a noob that has managed to get a site up and running finally, so cut some slack here |

the setting you need to change is in the forums administration:
cookie name and/or cookie domain

I am also confused about the User Groups. Only Administrator and Moderator seem to be active at the botom of my forums. Also when i try to edit permissions for the forums i have only a select few options (Public, Registered, Moderator and Private, the last 3 also containing [hidden] options.) |

Just keep in mind that groups and users are managed not within the Forums admin but within Edit Groups and Edit Users. Once you have the users and users tied to the groups you want, you can then use the standard Forum administration permissions and such to set up each forum as you wish. |
