Is it worth upgrading to 6.9?

This will be my first attempt at doing a Nuke upgrade.

If you've applied the fixpacks then no. You gain very little functionality.

Where is the best place to find fix packs so I can see which ones I have applied?

nukecops.com or nukefixes.com. I don't carry them here because it would be redundant.

I just installed v 6.8 and its running fine. However I do like most people need to make cosmetic changes and add a few modules here and there.

How do I upgrade from 8 to 9? Do I just copy all files over the existing ones and leave my MySQL database the way it is. I already have some download links and 3 members registered?

Replace the files. Any modifications/hacks you might have made to the 6.8 files will have to be made to the 6.9 if you need those modifications. Then in the 6.9 upgrade folder for 6.x is a file called upgrade68-69.php. Place that file in the same folder as config.php and point your browser to it. that will change your version number to 6.9 in the nuke_config table. That's it!
