Greetings folks,

I have a working store that the install of osCommerce went fabulously well. I have several more stores to install and on the second one the storefront works very well I can navigate all of the demo. However I cannot log into admin. I have cleared cookies and restarted my computer and I still cannot log into the admin section. I can log into my original store admin. I have tried all of the fixes I could find in the osCommerce support forums to no avail. So I decided to delete everything and start over. Now my cpanel has not updated to reflect the deleted files are gone. I looked through file manager and phpMyAdmin as well as my FTP program and the files are indeed gone.

I abandoned zen cart because it would not cooperate and now I am experiencing the same problems with osCommerce. osCommerce does complete transactions however. Zen Cart would not. My learning curve is high here. The osCommerce support forums have not produced a valid solution so I thought I would inquire here.

No I did not convert any of the install to a nuke module. The first installation worked fine. The second install the store appears to work however none of the fixes I found in osCommerce support forums has worked to permit me to acccess the admin menu and the response to posts there is very slow. I have two stores to build and nothing that works to do it with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok i hope i understand you correctly.

You use the oscommerce in original. Ok lets try to fix your problem.

1. Install the Database new.
2. Delete the Cookies in your Browser from your Shoppage.
3. Now go to catalog/admin/login.php or admin/login.php

Now the login page tell you thats no admin is in the Database (You know thats Wink ). Make a Admin and than try to login.

I think its a Cookie Issues if you use a fresh install of osCommerce.

// Edit:

Did you make the changes in the configure.php files ?

// Edit End

Best Regards

Peter
