How save do you feel there and do you care if someone gets your personal data ?
I donīt use any yet.
I have found out that spammer and other scammer often use public names, real names, sometimes company names from social sites if they need to add a name in their e-mail. |

I really don't do much with those applications so I'm really not one to comment. Facebook is the one out of all of them that I use occasionally but I try not to reveal much info publicly. |

I don't worry much about Twitter as there isn't much personal info there. Other than a list of friends, there isn't much personal info on FB either. But I have seen several hack-to-spam issues on FaceBook. You might wish to use an email address just for FB... |

I agree there isn't really much personal info on Twitter and if you minimise the amount of personal information on Facebook that shouldn't be an issue, especially if you only add friends that you trust. |

I also agree about Twitter and with Facebook I adhere to the following personal policies:
1. Set ALL of my privacy settings to Friends only, and
2. I NEVER elect to allow any application connect up to my FB information until I am confident the app is legit and even then, I think I only have one app. |
